I have loved following along with Will Wilson’s Antithesis. Their blog posts and podcasts are consistently really strong. They’ve recently hired the creator of Hypothesis, one of those fuzz testing frameworks that I’ve read lots about but never used in anger, probably because of my poor understanding of their value (would the bugs I found actually matter?).

It’s an interesting development as it’s a bit of a change in direction for Antithesis. They’ve focused a lot to date on deterministic simulation, which sounds incredible but is most likely most useful if you are building say, FoundationDB. For everyone else, not so much.

In a small scale product setting Bombadil looks like a better attack vector. It’s web-ui based, so it runs against a browser, observes DOM state and then checks properties while taking actions in the UI. That’s interesting as your evaluating every potential user execution path. I think this is a very interesting quality gate for software in the agent coding era.
